Over 37 years experience in the development and management of senior housing and continuing care retirement communities both in the USA and international including 6 full time years in China. Co-founder of Momentum Senior Living in USA and Honghui Senior Living in China. Primary focus now is business development for Momentum Senior Living and working with USC to develop student to senior housing workforce pipelines.  

Melissa Orth

Distinguished executive with 40 years of experience directing strategy, operational excellence and financial stewardship across the non-profit, senior services, and education sectors. From 2017 to 2025, she served as President and CEO of The Legacy Senior Communities, a Dallas faith-based organization consisting of two upscale continuing care retirement communities, a comprehensive home and community-based services company offering hospice, home health, and personal assistance services, and a foundation providing resident financial assistance.

Gaby Espinosa, AIA, NCARB

Senior Living Project Designer at HKS Architects and Designers

Architect with over nine years of experience focused on Senior Living design. Her work centers on shaping and designing environments that support how aging adults live, connect, and age with dignity, starting from the earliest planning stages through built projects. Her interest in senior living began during a formative year volunteering with underserved senior communities in Cancún, Mexico. That experience continues to shape her people-first approach to design, grounded in empathy cultural awareness, and real human needs.
